What is Whole30?

Simply put, Whole30 is a clean eating plan that lasts for 30 days.

It is designed to change your eating habits by helping you to cut out certain foods. Things like sugar, dairy, legumes, grains, and even alcohol are all items that can be avoided when following a Whole30 plan.

If you’re doing a tried and true Whole30, you’re not supposed to substitute items for a healthier counterpart (flour based cake for a cake using Whole30 approved ingredients).

A tried and true Whole30 requires the Whole30 book and I love Melissa Urban’s cookbooks too. You find find them all under the Whole30 section here.

This is to help with emotional eating, but if you’re doing Whole30 as an elimination diet, I say go for it.

There are several delicious Whole30 snacks that you can enjoy throughout the day.

In addition to these healthy snack recipes, you can also keep it simple with fruit, vegetables, nuts, and seeds.
